Kate Capshaw

The actress is known best as Kate Capshaw, an American actress who retired. Her role as Willie Scott (an American nightclub performer and singer) in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), which was directed by her future husband Steven Spielberg, is her most famous role. In the years since, she was a part in Dreamscape (1984), Power (1986), SpaceCamp (1986), Black Rain (1989), Love Affair (1994), Just Cause (1995), and The Love Letter (1999). Capshaw's portraiture work was shown in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw was a daughter of Beverley Sue (nee Simon), who is a beauty and travel agent and Edwin Leon Nail (an airline employee of the airline). Capshaw relocated to St. Louis, Missouri at the age of five and was a graduate of Hazelwood Senior High School in 1972. Capshaw was awarded a degree at the University of Missouri in education. She was also a part of Alpha Delta Pi. She was the special education teacher at Southern Boone High School Ashland, Missouri and Rock Bridge High School Columbia, Missouri.
